I was born in South Brazil in March 1979, where my family originates, but spent my first decade in Bahia, North Brazil. My family returned to South Brazil when I was a teenager, and I finished school in Canela, where in the early 90’s I started coding and programming at school.

I studied Computing Science for two years, though decided to change and broadening my degree to Communications and Advertising, majoring in Photography.

After university, I left Brazil for London late 2004 to study English and to gain practice and experience as a photographer. The idea was to stay a year to learn English, but I ended up staying for 3 years, working as a photographer’s assistant, improving my english language and doing various photography and IT courses.

In 2007, I moved to Barcelona to learn Spanish and do new projects and courses related to photography and video. This was meant to be a short stay before returning to London, however, I met my wife and ended up staying for 2 years. In Spain I studied the language and worked as a freelance photographer for one of the biggest creative agencies in Barcelona and had a short contract in the IT department of a local Catalan company as well.

I returned to London late 2009, where I now work at Pedalo.co.uk as a Front End Web Developer. And despite the rain and grey weather, I love London and consider this my home!
